National Day of Prayer & Repentance in Parliament
City Connect: 50 Days of Prayer for the
2026 Local Government Elections
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER AND REPENTANCE 2026
Spiritually Legislating Over Our Nation
Friday, 25 September 2026 · Parliament, Cape Town
Time: 11:00-14:00
This is a defining moment for South Africa.
Awakening South Africa, through the Prayer and Repentance movement, invites city and town leaders to gather at the seat of our nation's authority — Parliament — to stand in the gap, repent, and spiritually legislate over our land ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections.
As part of the City Connect: 50 Days of Prayer campaign, leaders from towns and cities across the nation will unite in one voice, in one place, for one purpose: to seek God for the peace, righteousness and prosperity of our nation.
"Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper." — Jeremiah 29:7
Don't miss your place in this historic gathering.
